SolarTile Sigma — Perfect Combination of Solar Power and Architectural Aesthetics
The solar tile is a replacement of concrete roof tile or glazed tile. The greatest advantage is offering building a green, environmental and elegant image in order to achieve optimal effect while providing heating, domestic hot water and lighting.
Patent liquid solar absorption module at the back of collector of Sigma Solar Tile transfers collected solar to heating system or hot water tank through solar acquisition system.
The technology provides heating or hot water independently and is able to connect to any known systems of heating and domestic hot water e.g. district heating, geothermal heat pump, air-source heat pump, fuel or electric boilers for energy saving and reducing cost.
Orientation of building and roof pitch have an effect to the heat collecting efficiency of solar tile. Facing south buildings normally have high efficiency. However efficiency of facing east-west and south-west can also be high, as any building with roof pitch of 20-45 degrees can obtain high efficiency. Our technician would design for roof pitch below 15 degrees.
Although Sigma solar tile is in standard size (the size conforms to concrete or glazed tiles in most regions of China), they can also be custom-made to suit special requirements for architectural aesthetics.
